Saunders Construction is a small business in Costa Mesa, CA. We provide seismic retrofits and structural repairs to existing buildings to make them more resistant to seismic activity. Saunders was established in 1979 with over 40 years of experience completing over 2,000 projects. We are seeking a Full Time Office Administrative Assistant to help support the our main Office and Accounting Department. This role is a great opportunity for a professional detail-oriented motivated individual who is interested in working in a fast paced office environment.
Duties are, but are not limited to:
Answering phones
Daily incoming/outgoing Mail and Shipping
Maintenance of all office/site supplies
Assisting Accounting team with mail, email follow ups, file organizing, etc.
Invoice Review
Travel Booking
Filing
Research and order office/site equipment per direction
Assisting Project Management team with emails, bid preparation, file organizing, etc.
Temp Facilities (research, locate, reserve of temp storage containers, trash bins, toilets, etc.)
Printing/Scanning
Janitorial services as needed (trash, restocking, light office maintenance, etc.)
Requirements:
Office Experience (preferably 1-2 years)
Construction industry experience in an administrative position a plus
Excellent customer service and communication skills required
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Able to manage time, prioritize, and adapt to change
Must work efficiently with minimal supervision
Great attitude and team spirit
Physical Requirements:
Indoor office environment
Sitting at a desk for prolonged periods of time
Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.
Frequent typing and computer usage
