Position Overview

We are looking for a Remote Data Entry Clerk to assist with the efficient management of customer and order data. In this role, you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining various data records related to customer orders, inventories, and other key operational details. This remote role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a digital work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry: Accurately enter customer orders, delivery schedules, and inventory data into our CRM system and databases.

Data Validation: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data by cross-referencing with source documents and resolving discrepancies.

Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files, order records, and inventory logs.

Order Processing Support: Assist in processing and updating customer orders, ensuring all relevant data is captured correctly.

Reporting: Generate and update weekly or monthly reports based on customer activity, container availability, and service metrics.

Database Maintenance: Ensure that customer records and databases are regularly updated and managed in a secure and efficient manner.

Collaborate with Teams: Communicate with operations, customer service, and logistics teams to gather or clarify necessary data.

Administrative Support: Provide general data-related support to the team as needed, including file organization and document management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or coursework in data management or office administration is a plus).

Previous data entry experience or similar administrative role, especially in remote settings.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems (experience with Google Sheets/Docs is also beneficial).

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working quickly.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle large amounts of data.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.

Problem-solving skills to handle discrepancies or issues with data.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordination with remote teams.
