FAA repair station has an immediate opening for a FULL-TIME shipper/receiver with the ability to train as a bench technician. Position available is ENTRY LEVEL trainee starting in shipping & receiving. NO MANAGERIAL positions available. Eligible candidates must be self-motivated, a fast learner, and a team player with a good mechanical aptitude. If you enjoy working with your hands, are open to learning a new trade, and are interested in aviation this may be a good fit for you. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Initial duties will include shipping and receiving responsibilities, janitorial tasks (mopping, cleaning bathrooms, changing light bulbs, taking out trash, etc.), making Fed-Ex drop offs, keeping inventory updated and organized, keeping track of shipping supplies. After employee is up to speed on shipping / receiving we can then begin to train you to become a technician to work on aircraft instruments.
Company offers medical, dental, 401k benefits, paid holidays, and vacation. Hours are primarily M-F 8-4:30 (technicians are welcome to work overtime). Due to FAA requirements a pre-employment DRUG TEST is required along with random quarterly drug testing for all technicians. MUST have reliable transportation.
