Hello, I am looking for a skilled motorcycle mechanic. I am a used motorcycle dealer based in Westminster, CA. This would be part time and on a work needed basis. There is room to grow, I plan to open a shop in the future. Pay would be hourly as an 1099 independent contractor.
–-Optimal Applicant—
- Have a garage or work from home space where I can bring the bikes to you for repair and you have all the required tools.
- The other option is you work from my garage using all my equipment.
–-Job Specifications—
- Perform service and repairs on various brands of motorcycles.
Mostly Japanese and European, some Harley- Davidsons. Street and Dirt Bikes.
- Crashed bike repair
- Be able to diagnose/troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Install aftermarket accessories
- Complete repair work in a timely manner
—Bonus Requirements—
- Truck or similar to transport bikes
- Ability to evaluate motorcycles for purchase
- Well versed in negotiating motorcycle purchases from private sellers
