Job Summary:Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, develops and implements the programs and operations within the School of Medicine, to deliver operational, project management, consulting, and administrative services for the organization. Provides analysis and evaluation of business processes and designs and leads projects associated with organizational strategies or initiatives.Essential Responsibilities:

Project management: Provides high quality and cost-effective project management, consulting, analytic, administrative, and operational services across defined areas within the organization through process development, system implementation, business case creation, and policy and procedural execution. Assists with the creation of short and long-term goals, initiatives, and objectives. Manages special projects within defined areas to meet the overall timelines, working with necessary subject matter experts to complete. Develops workflows and process diagrams.

Planning and implementing: Consults with leaders to develop initiatives that are consistent with the organization. Assists with determining objectives and setting priorities, anticipating potential risks and opportunities within defined areas of the organization. Formulates specific implementation plans and evaluates the effectiveness of actions/programs implemented. Researches key business issues,and directs the collecting and analyzing of quantitative and qualitative data. Synthesizes analysis and identifies key findings. Participates significantly in interpreting analysis and developing action plans accordingly.

Operations: Assists the Operations Manager in developing and executing recruitment processes. Works in partnership with leadership and other staff to ensure the administrative and management needs are met. Partners with leaders and managers to develop a level of services and execute day-to-day operations. Assists in monitoring budgets and financial performance and identifies opportunity to reduce cost. Plans and facilitates meetings and makes formal presentations to various senior level audiences. Identifies and recommends process and operational improvements increase operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum three (3) years of experience in health care, administration, consulting, education, or related experience.

Education

Bachelors degree in a health care, business administration, education, or related field or four (4) years of experience in a directly related field

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
