Description We are seeking a POS Systems Administrator/Engineer based in West LA. This role involves utilizing expertise in POS systems, especially Oracle Micros, to design, deploy, and maintain systems across multiple locations. Strong technical skills and experience with API integrations are essential for ensuring seamless operations and data flow across various business platforms.Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage large-scale deployments of Oracle Micros POS systems at multiple locations.

Monitor system performance to ensure optimal availability and reliability.

Develop and maintain API integrations between Oracle Micros POS and other business systems, including inventory management, CRM, and ERP.

Lead troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Business Systems integrations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions aligned with business needs.

Develop analytics related to Business Systems integrations.

Manage relationships with external solutions contacts.

Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and integrations.

Train internal teams and end-users on system functionalities and best practices.

Implement and uphold security measures to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems is mandatory. Familiarity with Application Programming Interface (API) is required. Experience in the restaurant industry is preferred. Previous work in the retail sector is a plus. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills are essential. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated is crucial. Must possess strong organizational and multitasking skills. Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery is necessary. Must have the ability to create scripts in SQL or other language. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms is required. Professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) are a plus.
