- Ability to identify and help solve accessibility-specific technical issues and concerns
- 6-8 years of experience with Assistive Technology tools- Practical experience with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver or other accessibility technology is required
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude to communicate complex concepts/problems clearly and persuasively
- A passion for developing engaging customer user experiences for customers of all abilities
- Strong empathy for customers with disabilities
- Able to take written and verbal direction and deliver on schedule
- Advanced knowledge of accessibility standards, such as WCAG, ARIA, Section 508, etc.
- Experience as an advocate for people with disabilities
- Experience with open source tools and test frameworks
- Experience launching new software features across a variety of surfaces and architectures.
- At least one certification from the IAAP (CPACC, WAS, CPWA, etc.)
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for WCAG guidelines and stay informed of new guidelines as they evolve
- Understand how a global matrixed organization operates and functions, and thrive in this type of environment
- Consistently focuses on highest priority demands and while maintaining progress on other important work activities; understands how initiatives support organizational success; eliminates activities that distract from the critical few priorities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide education and guidance for accessibility and help mediate and drive improvements.

- Strong Technical Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS(Angular/Node), WAI-ARIA & other relevant front-end technologies for accessibility compliance.
- Advocate for inclusion and actively promote the importance of accessibility understanding, education, and buy in.
- Create and manage training and documentation and present on the best way to create accessible videos, content, and websites.
- Extensive experience in Accessibility & Usability UI design analysis & testing
- Experience with accessibility tools & technologies used with desktop, tablet, mobile & gaming devices.
- Screen Readers: JAWS, NVDA, Narrator, Voiceover, Talkback,
- Work across the organization to help drive the adherence and implementation of key compliance guidelines including identifying opportunities to increase effectiveness
- Provide expert accessibility feedback in the areas of design (UX/UI), development, and testing to teams across Citi on new features and functionality
- Assist accountable parties (technology, journey owners) to interpret accessibility audit reports and identify root causes of defect creation and monitor remediation of those root causes.
