Description ONLY CANDIDATES WHO RESIDE IN OR NEAR THE RANCHO CORDOVA AREA WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS REMOTE POSITIONThe Senior Procurement Specialist is pivotal in ensuring responsible financial expenditures across the enterprise. This role involves collaborating with business partners to understand essential requirements for purchase requests and excels in executing best-in-class sourcing, negotiation, bidding processes, and vendor management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing fair RFx award analysis and acting as the primary liaison during the implementation of purchase agreement terms.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Bind the company on significant purchases with managerial consultation.
Affect business operations substantially by committing the company financially to spend obligations on a variety of items including furniture, IT hardware/software, and consulting services.
Conduct all sourcing, bidding, and purchasing activities with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Manage sourcing projects with strict adherence to organizational policies and processes.
Source alternative vendors, qualify vendors, monitor vendor quality, and negotiate pricing to ensure high standards and optimal value for the company.
Utilize benchmarking data to align vendor partners with industry pricing standards.
Create and manage timelines for sourcing activities ensuring on-time delivery of RFx awards.
Develop and maintain documentation for all procurement-related activities.
Setup and conduct training sessions on procurement processes and standards.
Provide analytics and KPIs to management, including managing Corporate Supplier Diversity Program.
Collaborate with team members, business partners, and vendors to support various departmental and enterprise objectives.
Coordinate quarterly business reviews with top vendors and management.
Requirements

Strong attention to detail; travel may be required.
Proficiency in Office 365, Outlook, and Oracle EBusiness Suite.
Education, Experience & Training Required:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 6 years related experience in procurement or related fields.
