Construction Supply Company seeking delivery personnel for HUD-assisted construction projects. Good driving records required for drivers. All positions require loading and unloading materials at construction job sites, including heavy drywall and doors. Company will help train qualified Class C drivers with obtaining a Class A license.
Section 3 Notice (HUD Requirement)
This position is associated with a project subject to HUD Section 3 (24 CFR Part 75).
Qualified Section 3 workers will be given priority consideration for employment opportunities.
A Section 3 worker may include:
Public housing residents; or
Low- or very-low-income individuals; or
Residents of the local project service area.
Applicants are not required to be Section 3 eligible to apply.
The following positions are currently available:
Boom Truck Driver – Class A CDL required
General Delivery – Clean Class C or higher driver’s license required
Requirements:
Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to maintain safety while driving
Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes
Highly responsible and reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
