Surface Coating Specialist I or II
We are a mid-size facility producing industrial equipment and structural steel elements for the Material Handling Industry. We are currently looking for an entry level (I) or experienced (II).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Familiarity with metal preparation required for applying direct to metal (DTM) two-part epoxy paint.
Familiarity with mixing and applying DTM two-part epoxy paint.
Working knowledge of HVLP paint sprayers in so far as application and clean up.
Familiarity/Desire to learn how to operate metal working equipment: bandsaws, torches, tape measures, air and electrical hand tools.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
All tasks must be performed up to quality standards of the company.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Overtime and weekend work required on occasion to complete jobs.
Possess personal skills to enable person to work well with other members of the team in completing job duties.
Work/Education Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
