Hiring three Manufacturing Technicians for a start up drone company in Hayward, CA!Key Responsibilities:●Fixture Assembly: Utilize documentation such as Bill of Materials (BOM) and work instructions to build electro-mechanical testing fixtures with precision and efficiency.●Soldering and Electrical Troubleshooting: Demonstrate expert soldering skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical components to ensure the functionality and reliability of testing fixtures.●Fabrication Skills: Independently set up new work stations and construct fixtures using 80/20 extrusion, applying basic fabrication techniques with attention to detail and quality.●3D Printing Operations: Operate FDM 3D printers to produce components and fixtures required for testing processes, ensuring optimal performance and quality of prints.●Documentation: Document root cause analysis, test fixture builds, and station setups meticulously, maintaining clear and comprehensive records for reference and future improvements.●Tool Calibration: Perform regular calibration of internal tools according to established schedules, ensuring accuracy and consistency in testing procedures.●Golden Units Testing: Conduct regular tests using golden units and fixtures to identify and rectify any deviations or drift in test fixture performance, maintaining the integrity of testing processes.●Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance protocols for test fixtures to minimize downtime and prevent production line incidents, ensuring continuous operation and efficiency.Qualifications:● Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, and electrical troubleshooting.● Proficiency in basic fabrication techniques and experience working with 80/20 extrusion.● Familiarity with FDM 3D printing operations and software.● Strong documentation skills with the ability to maintain detailed records.● Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies.● Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.● Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.● Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experienced Engineering Technician or a fresh college graduate$45-$50 an hour based on years of experienceAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
