Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer Location: REMOTE Type: Full-time We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a specialization in cloud technologies. In this role, they will develop and support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, write documentation, work closely with software developers, and proactively improve the efficiency and efficacy of the software.They will also have the opportunity to set the direction for our cloud migration. This will involve design, planning, roll-out, and maintenance of a wide range of cloud technologies, including storage, networking, container orchestration, monitoring, security, and data science. In this capacity, they will set the standards for Cloud technologyResponsibilities:-As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be a member of the DevOps team collaborating regularly with R&D, IT, and other teams.-Client the framework and foundation for Cloud DevOps and for helping our engineering teams scale and make their processes more efficient.-Deploy & Manage tools and solutions that will drive continuous improvement around the Performance, Reliability, Availability & Scalability of our infrastructure.-Build and maintain the Linux & Windows based infrastructure.-Practice automation best practices and emerging trends.-Work closely with software developers and architects to understand their needs and deliver optimal solutions.Qualifications:-Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - advanced degree or professional certifications a plus-6+ year of experience leading, designing, building and operating large hybrid cloud infrastructure; or equivalent combination of post-bachelor s education and experience-Experience with public cloud platforms like Azure, Google Cloud Platform & AWS, preferably with at least one certification-A solid understanding of cloud security & willingness to learn best security practices on different platforms-Experience working with CI/CD tools in Cloud Native environments-Experience working with DevOps tools like GitLab, Docker, Jenkins, Vagrant, Prometheus, Consul, Packer, Vault, Rancher, Helm, etc.-Experience working with one or more config management tools (e.g. Ansible)-Experience with configuration-as-code using git, Terraform, and cloud-specific solutions-Experience in managing and deploying workloads in Kubernetes-Experience managing traditional or cloud storage solutions-Direct experience coding in one or more common programming languages (Javascript, Python, C#, etc.)-Experience operating monitoring tools for traditional and cloud environments (e.g. Datadog)-Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal. This includes listening skills and an open attitude toward constructive feedback.
