Description We are looking for a skilled Medical Front Office Biller to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate would be highly organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and adept at managing patient billing operations. Your primary responsibility will be insurance verification to ensure a smooth billing process and a notable decrease in errors.Responsibilities:
Perform thorough insurance verification and authorizations.
Detect any discrepancies, inaccuracies, or gaps in medical billing documentation for the successful completion of claims.
Review and update patient accounts, making sure each detail is precise.
Manage Billing systems and patient files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate with insurance providers on any issues related to billing or payment.
Keep track of changes in insurance laws, guidelines, and policies.
Relay information regarding patient coverage and potential costs to patients and their families.
Maintain accurate records and protect patient confidentiality.
Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff regarding billing issues.
Requirements
1 years experience as a Medical Biller or insurance verifier
Understanding of ICD-10 codes, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Knowledge of health insurance claims processing
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High school diploma; degree in medical billing or related field would be advantageous.
