In addition, the position will be responsible for all aspects of designing and running high potential leadership development programs for early and mid-career leaders as required. Lead the recruiting, selection, onboarding, assignment rotations and off program placement of participants in the two-year MBA Leadership Development Program. The role includes providing mentorship and guidance to program participants, planning and delivering development sessions, preparing quarterly reports and a biannual forum for the CEO and planning program graduation. The incumbent will also lead all aspects of overall program planning and budgeting, administration and communications.

Handle the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of high potential leadership programs.

Analyze program needs and recommend development solutions; meet with clients and key partners for approvals; lead participant selection; develop annual budget; facilitate and host instructor-led training; collaborate with consultants and partners to ensure ongoing alignment of programs; revise programs based on strategic direction; ensure adherence to program objectives and problem solve.

Manage vendors including overseeing statements of work, handling purchase orders, crafting RFPs and negotiating agreements. Handle assessment tools and systems. Provide assessment debrief and interpretation (e.g., 360 feedback). Facilitate manager consultation, participant kickoff; schedule and launch assessments, and provide recommendations on development plans.

The role also conducts standard methodologies research and delivers recommendations for continuously improving Edison’s mentoring efforts. Partners with TM to provide coaching services to senior managers and executives. Partners with mangers, executives and employees to identify coaching and mentoring needs and opportunities.

Communicate effectively with Learning & Development administrators to ensure accurate planning and execution of program logistics (e.g., order materials, schedule rooms, provide catering, etc.). Implement logistics plans as required.

Provide project management to ad-hoc talent and learning projects that support the organization. Lead cross-functional teams that may include executives and report out to senior executive sponsors.

QualificationsMinimum qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Human Development, Psychology, Organizational Behavior or related field

10 years of experience in HR programs

1 year of experience managing high potential rotational programs

5 years of experience in leadership development, training, assessment tools, project management, program design, and/or vendor management.

Desired qualifications:

Master’s degree in I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Development, Adult Education or a related discipline is helpful.

2+ years of experience running external high potential rotational programs including coordinating recruiting, selection, rotation management, off program placement and program management.

8-10 years of leadership development experience including needs assessment, program design, vendor management, delivering feedback, mentoring, facilitation of high visibility leadership programs, program evaluation and logistics.

Experience leading high visibility, enterprise-wide leadership development programs

Proven experience consulting with business leaders, working closely with and providing consultation to management, including preparing and presenting clear and concise recommendations and gaining consensus for recommendations.

Experience with Instructional Design

Strong relationship management and partner engagement skills, with solution-oriented approaches and tight-knit collaboration with HR colleagues and business partners.

Ability to build and maintain a safety conscious work environment.

Ability to think creatively and strategically to make recommendations and execute on assignments.

Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.

Demonstrated skill in use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Certification in leading leadership assessment tools: MBTI, EQ, etc.
