Program Manager for Senior Peer Counseling of El Dorado County. We provide free counseling to adults 55+ by highly trained peer counselors, to address issues of aging, relationships, grief, anxiety and depression. This is a contact position with no benefits.
Qualifications:
Must have experience in program management.
Have a working knowledge of business methods, computer skills and accounting.
Knowledge in the issues of aging or willingness to learn.
Strong leadership skills, detail oriented, team oriented.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Ensure program needs are met and it runs smoothly.
Create and implement advertising and marketing.
Order supplies and collaborate in managing the budget.
Collect demographic client data.
Create and manage forms.
Provide outreach activities and presentations to the public and community programs.
Oversee and collaborate with the Office Administrator.
Provide support to volunteers and coordinate trainings.
Other duties as assigned.
Work averages 10-15 hours per week with fluctuations throughout the year.
