We are looking for a caring, patient, kind and loving teacher who can communicate well with students, parents and staff
About us:
We are a private Preschool located on two beautiful acres in the heart of Granite Bay.
We emphasize an Outdoor Program utilizing learning environments beneath large established shade trees, in our garden, and orchard, lawn and animal areas along with our traditional classroom settings. We have a true organic campus, where children are surrounded by nature; birds, squirrels and lizards are observed in their natural habitats by the children and staff. We have an orchard of trees giving the children the opportunity to pick the fruit right off the trees. We also have a variety of trees, shrubs and flowers that add to the natural beauty of our campus. The children have the opportunity to plant vegetable and flower gardens throughout the year. We are an authentic rural private property. Not being located in a strip mall or business park, makes us special, unique and out of the ordinary! We are so proud to be able to provide such an extraordinary campus for our little learners!
Our philosophy is to teach to the whole child-
Physically, Socially, Emotionally and Cognitively. Our farm style learning environment allows children the lessons and activities necessary to grow as they acquire practical living skills by gardening, care and feeding of our goats, chickens and bunnies, as well as harvesting, cooking and baking with fruits and vegetables they have grown themselves.
We spend time outside painting, crafting, listening to and making music, as well as working on academic studies, science experiments and observations.
We provide a traditional academic curriculum that includes Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Spanish, PE and more. In conjunction we balance the academics with Free Play, Guided Play, Drama, Cooking ,Gardening, Puppetry, Crafting, Weaving, Baking and Woodworking
Once again we emphasize both variety and balance, which keeps students engaged, excited and grounded as they grow and learn.
We have a great staff who are highly supportive of one another and collaborate to write creative and remarkable lesson plans, sharing ideas and talents amongst themselves for optimum educational outcomes,
Our families are generous with time and support which means you have the ability to provide the highest quality experiences for your students. The owners of the school provide all materials and teachers never spend a dime of their own money for classroom supplies.
