We are continuously developing new answers for rail automation – often to questions that haven’t been asked yet.Position Overview:Siemens is seeking a Factory Commissioning Group Lead for our Sacramento facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of Passenger Coaches and Trainsets to optimally lead their team through commissioning OEM contracts. This role is fully supported by Field Service Management and the broader Siemens Rolling Stock business.What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:

Employee Relations: Cultivate employee motivation, effective two-way communication, and engagement.

Performance Management: Supervise and take action to maintain performance levels.

Resource Management: Plan to meet team resource needs, recruit, and induct employees.

Schedule Management: Collaborate on and implement schedules for commissioning, repair, and modification activities.

Customer Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external customers to communicate status, and plans, and resolve issues.

Safety: Model behavior that promotes a zero-harm culture.

To Thrive in This Role, You Have:

A high school diploma or GED.

A minimum of 2 years of successful experience testing Rolling Stock.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
