Description Lisa Cole with Robert Hald is working with a stable engineering company that is looking to add a dedicated Staff Accountant to the team. As a Staff Accountant you will be involved in managing a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, vendor management, payroll support, and account reconciliation. This is an in the office position in Sacramento, CA. For immediate consideration, please call Lisa Cole at 916-649-0832Responsibilities: Conduct project accounting tasks, particularly monitoring the financial progress of projects and managing billing cycles or issues. Manage billing functions effectively, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Oversee accounts payable and vendor management tasks, maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring correct transaction records. Support payroll and general HR tasks by ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes. Perform account and contract reconciliation tasks, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in accounts or contracts. Utilize tools such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Billing.Requirements Required Experience and Skills:
4+ experience in a general accounting and/or project accounting role.
Proficiency in general accounting principles.
Prior experience with billing, project accounting, and collections operations.
Familiarity with accounts payable and vendor management tasks.
Experience in payroll processing
