Chef/Line Cook- Full Time

Bakery and Restaurant is looking for a chef/line cook with experience cooking with a wood fired oven, wood grill, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We use fresh ingredients and cook from scratch. If you take pride in working with fresh ingredients like us, submit your resume for consideration. This is a full time position but we would consider part time. Competitive Pay Offered

 Chef/Line Cook Position-Full time and Part time

 Minimum 1 year experience a must

 Communication Skills. You will need to read orders, understand instruction from the head chef, and talk to your fellow cooks to make sure the food is delivered hot and delicious.

 Customer Service Skills: Customers may have special requests or complaints. If you are working in a place where they can see you, you might need to interact with the customer. Service with a smile will be necessary.

 Hand-Eye Coordination: great knife skills

 Work will under pressure in a busy Kitchen-Serving Breakfast lunch and dinner

 Sense of Taste and Smell: Knowing when food has gone bad, understanding proper seasoning and what tastes good will help you attract customers.

 Stamina: You will need to be able to stand on your feet for long periods and lift heavy objects from storage.

 Teamwork: You will need to be able to work as a team to create a great dining experience for customers

 Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment without losing composure

 Professional cooking skills: The cook must have a strong knowledge of professional cooking

 Monitor quality of food

 Knowledge of recipe: He/she must have a strong knowledge of recipe to be able to prepare varieties of food using different methods

 Cleanliness is a must
