Caregiver for Small 6-Bed Memory Care Homes (Full-Time) – Sacramento Area
We are seeking kind, reliable, and experienced caregivers to join our team across our five small 6-bed care homes in the greater Sacramento area. Each house has up to six residents, all needing memory-care support in a calm, home-like setting.
We are looking for caregivers who are comfortable and confident working with individuals living with dementia and memory loss, and who understand how to support residents with compassion, patience, and dignity.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting residents with full ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
— toileting, changing briefs, bathing / showering, grooming, dressing
Oral hygiene, hand-over-hand assistance, and prompting
Meal support, including feeding if needed
Light housekeeping to support resident comfort and safety
Providing companionship, reassurance, and simple conversation
Encouraging resident independence whenever possible
Supporting residents through behaviors related to dementia with calmness and empathy
Requirements:
DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance (ability to work with no disqualifying background issues under CCLD)
TB test and physical (within the last 6 months)
Current CPR & First Aid certification
Experience in memory care preferred
Ability to work independently and handle dementia-related behaviors appropriately
Pay Rate:
$18–$23 per hour, depending on experience.
Available Full-Time Shifts:
Morning: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Evening: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Mid-Shift: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
