The Milieu Center is a day program that services adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnosis. We are looking for energetic and accountable individuals that have the ability to work in a client driven team first environment. Our hours are 8 am to 4 pm Mon - Fri with Holidays off. You must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check with the DOJ.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma.
One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Clean DMV record.

DUTY STATEMENT:
The Program Assistant is responsible for the following functions:
1. Complete daily janitorial tasks.
2. Supervise lunch area, snack area, and gym area.
3. Assist clients with general clean up after sessions.
4. Provide assistance to facilitators for individual and group sessions.
5. Provide special supervision tasks for clients.
6. Teach clients job skills.
7. Transport clients in center vans during community outings.
8. Participate on the center multidisciplinary team.
9. Attend select client ISP meetings.
10. Assist client with ISP goals and objectives.
11. Complete all required documentation.
12. Implement behavioral plans.
13. Follow all safety procedures.
14. Attend required trainings/meetings.
15. Other tasks as needed.
