Temporary Order Picker / Warehouse Associate
Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
Schedule: 2:30 PM to 1030 PM
Compensation: $18.00/hour
SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, selecting, and loading products. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Material Handling & Movement
Operate hand jacks and/or material handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) up to 95% of the shift.
Convey products from receiving to storage or designated areas.
Place items on racks, shelves, or bins according to slot assignments.
Rotate stock to ensure first-in/first-out picking.
Order Selection & Shipping
Read pick tickets, pick labels, or on-screen instructions to assemble customer orders.
Prepare, stage, and load pallets for shipment.
Load trailers with outgoing merchandise.
Ensure complete and accurate fulfillment of customer orders following company “zero errors” standards.
Receiving & Documentation
Accurately receive inbound products and complete required documentation.
Affix pallet tags and other identifying information upon receipt.
Record tracking information as instructed.
Safety, Equipment & Cleanliness
Operate equipment safely in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Perform daily inspections of equipment and maintain fluid levels.
Prevent damage to products, equipment, and facilities.
Maintain clean and orderly warehouse conditions at all times.
Customer Service & Company Standards
Follow up on all customer requests to ensure satisfaction.
Treat internal and external customers with respect and professionalism.
Uphold company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
Think critically about how individual actions impact customers and the business.
Perform other duties as assigned to achieve company goals.
