Small mid-town firm seeks an attorney with civil litigation experience of at least one year. Working for an attorney while in law school doing civil litigation counts.
Civil litigation with some real estate and personal injury law are the areas of practice. Please give a detailed history of your experience in any or all of these specific areas of practice.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of the litigation process and California Civil Code
- Prior experience taking and defending depositions
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of assignments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and organized.
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Must be organized, proficient in Word, West Law, Google Docs, Google calendaring, and related programs; detail-oriented
Position is full-time. Our business hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday
