Compensation: Starting at $19/Hour - MUST MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS RATE.
Employment type:
Part-time, GRAVE SHIFT: 2300hrs-0700hrs (11pm-7am). 2-4 days available (16-32 hours).
IMMEDIATE OPENING:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

CAPITOL PROTECTION is always looking to add professional experienced security officers to their team. Our Security Officers are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the employees and the guests at one of our hospitality sites in downtown Sacramento. A successful Security Officer will possess keen observation skills, have a professional appearance, self-control and good report writing skills while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from various cultures and walks of life.
Currently hiring for a cardroom in Downtown Sacramento
1. Unarmed Part Time Level 1 Security Officers are expected to have a valid BSIS guard card and proof of training (certificates).
2. A successful Level 1 Security Officer will be able to operate a surveillance system quickly and effectively.
3. Security Officers should be able to write an accurate detailed report.
4. Guest/Employee customer service is of the utmost importance. We take pride in our guests and the service we give them on a daily basis. We hope that with your help we can reach the next level of customer service while still enforcing policies and procedures.
5. Security Officers should expect to work shift mentioned above.
Must be available to work weekends, and holidays.
6. Must have reliable transportation.
7. Must be able stand for long periods of time, and be outdoors for the MAJORITY of the shift.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Open availability. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD (Site-specific requirement)
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background check, and credit check.
- MUST POSSES A VALID CA GUARD CARD (and Certificates of training, 40 hours minimum).
-MUST POSSES TRAINING CERTIFICATES/PERMITS for any equipment authorized to be carried by the DOS (Director of Security).
