Job Summary:
We are seeking a Transfer Driver to join our team hauling construction/aggregate materials. The candidate must have at least 2 years experience driving, and be able to operate a manual transmission.
We are willing to train, we offer Medical insurance and depending on experience starting rate of $30/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate different types of trucks, including transfer and/or super dumps.
- Perform route driving to deliver materials to various locations
- Conduct inspections before and after each trip to ensure the vehicle's safety
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Skills:
- 2 1/2 years commercial driving experience
- Proficiency in manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Strong drive for delivering goods/materials efficiently and safely
- Knowledge of automotive repair for minor maintenance tasks
