Visit https://www.dignityhealth.org/socal/locations/san-bernardino for more information.ResponsibilitiesA Licensed Vocational Nurse Per Diem performs nursing duties within the guidelines of hospital policies and procedures under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and in-direct supervision of the Nurse Manager. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Community Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement, process, and activities.QualificationsOne (1) year experience in Long Term Care and/or Subacute

Acute care experience preferred

Six (6)months experience within the past two (2) years providing care to pediatric subacute technology dependent residents for whom the facility provides care.

The following may be substituted for required experience: successful completion of 15 CEUs specific to provision of care to residents with technology dependency and the successful completion of the 40-hour in-house preceptorship designed to promote the licensed nurses' clinical competency in providing nursing services to pediatric residents with technology dependency for whom the facility provides care.

One year experience performing acute and/or sub-acute care is preferred.

IV Certification and Cardio Pulmanary Resuscitation Certification CPR, Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN License is required.
