We are looking to hire an energetic and professional Front Desk Agent to welcome our guests with a warm and friendly smile. Handle guest arrivals and departures in a courteous and efficient manner. Proactively provide our guests with personal service and attention that exceeds their expectations. IS THIS YOU?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conveys a favorable image of the organization by projecting a positive, professional appearance and demeanor to our guests.
2. Participates in increasing the percentage of return guests by listening to and fulfilling their needs with a caring and responsive attitude.
3. Contributes to the financial growth of the company by enthusiastically promoting the available amenities and facilities of our hotel.
4. Plays a key role in ensuring that all guest needs are met in a timely manner by interacting and communicating closely with other departments in the hotel.
5. Continuously provides excellent customer service when making reservations and use effective up-selling techniques.
6. Offers and provides assistive devices to our guests with disabilities in a thoughtful and professional manner.
7. Answers the department telephone with a friendly voice using professional telephone techniques and etiquette.
8. Inputs information into the hotel computer and maintain guest records accurately and precisely, paying close attention to details and comments.
9. Maintains a house bank and conform to established cash handling procedures.
10. Processes guest billing using cash, checks, credit cards and special billing.
11. Provides a safe and secure environment for both our guests and colleagues by knowing and assisting in safety and emergency procedures.
12. Undertakes other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Must have an upbeat positive attitude
Must be a team player
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must be available Nights, Holidays, and Weekends
Must be able to stand for an 8 hour shift
