Calabria is hiring a full-time coffee Production Assistant/Customer Support for our North Park roasting facility to assist in the distribution of our specialty coffee and other products. Must fit within these requirements:
-Schedule is Monday-Friday: 5 days a week, 40 hours. 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. sometimes without the assistance of others.
-Able to stay organized and self-motivated.
-Positive work ethic, open to learning.
-High level of multi-task ability.
-Passion for specialty coffee and production operations.
-Fork lift driving knowledge. (Not required, we can train)
-QuickBooks knowledge a plus!
Job Responsibilities:
Administration (50%)
Answer phone and email inquiries, providing prompt and professional customer support.
Process and track wholesale orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
Create and send invoices, credits, and account statements as needed.
Follow up on customer orders, special requests, and service issues to ensure satisfaction.
Monitor and follow up on past-due accounts, coordinating with accounting for payment collection.
Process shipping orders and dispatch them in accordance with standard operating procedures
Order and maintain inventory to ensure products are fully stocked and available
Packaging Coffee and Product (40%)
Bag and grind coffee to meet requirements of daily production schedule.
Bag bulk teas and chocolates.
Assist with cold brew kegging.
Follow procedures for packaging, labeling, and grinding roasted coffee, tea, and chocolate.
Maintenance Duties (10%)
Help Roaster with cleaning and equipment maintenance.
Put away weekly orders using FIFO system.
Maintain a clean and organized production area while abiding by health and safety regulations.
Weekly cleaning of production areas and other areas assigned by the owner.
