Accounting Clerk

Description We are in search of a meticulous and committed Accounting Clerk to be a part of our team in San Diego, California. This role primarily involves providing support to our accounting team with various tasks, including filing, scanning, and assistance with Accounts Payable and Receivable. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the medical device industry.Responsibilities: Provide support for various accounting projects. Perform Accounts Payable and Receivable duties as required. Ensure accurate filing and scanning of accounting documents. Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and administrative tasks. Maintain and update customer records efficiently. Resolve any customer inquiries related to accounting. Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary. Assist in maintaining an organized and clean workspace. Provide administrative assistance to the accounting team. Ensure all customer applications are processed accurately and efficiently.Requirements Role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with QuickBooks is essential Must have skills in scanning and filing documents Administrative assistance experience is a requirement Must be proficient in data entry tasks No prior years of experience required, entry-level applicants are welcome Must demonstrate professional communication skills Should have strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Must have a good understanding of accounting principles Proactive problem-solving skills are necessary High school diploma or equivalent is required, a degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Must have legal status to work in the country.
