As a Benefit Client Service Representative, you'll help our client's plan participants with enrolling in and updating their healthcare and pension plans.
You'll need to quickly connect with participants, respond kindly and accurately via phone, email, and instant message, and exceed their expectations.
You'll adapt your communication style to different personalities, handle confidential information carefully according to laws, and explain complex plan details clearly.
Understanding our client’s plan documents and tools, you'll gather information to address current needs and anticipate future ones.
It's crucial to follow company procedures, provide accurate information, and maintain detailed records of interactions.
Qualifications:
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, in a customer service context, with grammatical accuracy.
Proficient in quickly assessing member concerns and devising solutions using analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capable of working effectively in a structured environment, adhering to schedules, breaks, and protocols.
Strong attention to detail, adept at multitasking, and skilled in organizing work tasks.
Experience using Microsoft Office, proficient in managing multiple computer windows for concurrent phone or instant messaging interactions.
Ability to work independently in a self-paced, motivated team environment.
Comfortable with virtual work environments, including online training and communication with managers/supervisors via chat.
Competent in comprehending and executing oral and written instructions.
Typing speed of 30 words per minute.
Previous experience in a customer service-related role.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Shift Timings:M-F (NO WEEKENDS) 6:00AM- 6:00PM (hours to fluctuate between 35- 40) - extended hours could be until 8pm PST Pay:$17-17.75/hrExperience Level:
