Description We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our busy finance team. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating current payroll systems, recommending improvements, maintaining accurate payroll records, and preparing reports. This position plays an integral role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processes and improved financial procedures to support the growth and stability of our company.Responsibilities:
Formulate, implement, and validate all payroll processes.
Ensure all employees are paid on time, accurately, and in accordance with company procedures and state laws.
Perform data analysis to audit payrolls and help improve efficiency.
Resolve any payroll disputes or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare comprehensive reports and statistical summaries for management review.
Cooperate closely with human resources and other departments to ensure all payroll adjustments are accurately reflected.
Keep abreast with new legislations, policies and procedures that may affect payroll operations and ensure timely compliance.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst or in a similar role.
Familiarity with payroll software, as well as timekeeping and human resources information systems.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures, including taxes, benefits, etc.
Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
