1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:DescriptionDesign and develop high quality solutions for N-tier systems.
Take a lead role within the team, ensuring that programming best practices are being followed; prioritizing work effectively; addressing production issues in a timely manner; and writing system documentation when required.
Work as part of an agile scrum team: attend and participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint retrospectives.
When required, participate in agile backlog grooming meetings and provide high-level estimates.
Participate in team sprint planning meetings to determine the context of the next software release.
Work with team leads, database engineers, infrastructure engineers and software architects to design software components following object oriented best practices and industry standard software design patterns.
Develop new database tables, stored procedures, functions, views etc. when needed.
Participate in code reviews and design reviews.
Deploy software components to non-production environments.
Provide support during production deployments: troubleshooting and resolving software related issues.
Assist/mentor other software engineers.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Must have 2 years of experience as a developer using/performing the following:
In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices.
Planning and managing software project delivery.
Providing direction and mentoring less experienced teammates.
Working with the Microsoft technology stack.
Applying database design and development principles (T-SQL)
Using an enterprise class source control system (Team Foundation Server or Git)
Applying knowledge of Agile SDLC best practices
Software design patterns
Knowledge of N-tier, SOA and microservice architectures
Test automation best practices, using TDD, unit testing, Gherkin, SpecFlow or other similar test automation tooling
In-depth knowledge C# 5.0/6.0 and .Net 4.6+;
Microsoft Web Service technologies, including WCF, and/or Web API/REST);
Windows Technologies such as WinForms and/or WPF
Web Technologies (Asp.Net, MVC, Angular, Typescript, Node, CSS, and/or JavaScript)
Automation Testing tools including NUnit, MSTest, Jasmine & Karma (web), Selenium, MOQ
Load testing Tools, such as JMeter
Data access frameworks including ADO.Net, Dapper, Entity Framework/nHibernate, LINQ
Asynchronous programming and Multi-Threading
UML Technologies and Tools like Visio or EA
OOA/D and N-tier application best practices
Data messaging technologies XML, XSLT and JSON.
