Description We are seeking a dynamic Staff Accountant to join our finance department. This position will be responsible for providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. The successful candidate will have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills.Responsibilities:
Balancing and maintaining accurate ledgers.
Preparing regular financial statements and reports.
Verifying and posting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
Identifying, researching, and rectifying account discrepancies.
Processing and preparing general ledger entries and/or invoices for reconciliation.
Ensuring company’s financial security by establishing and enforcing internal controls.
Assisting with the preparation of year-end audits and financial statements.
Providing support to the accounting team in all areas of finance as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organization, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
CPA certification is a plus.
