Be part of a well-established and award-winning casual dining restaurant located in Hillcrest, San Diego. Our restaurant menu changes seasonally for Brunch and Dinner with respect to the availability of locally sourced ingredients. We are currently seeking talented and experienced applicants for Brunch Line Cook.
LINE COOK:
Part Time
$19.00-$23.00 per hour
One week accrued vacation pay

Our Line Cooks take pride in accurately and efficiently cooking meats, seafood, vegetables, and other hot/cold food products as well as preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking. Our Line Cooks are valuable team-oriented contributors who practice open and respectable lines of communication. Our Line Cooks also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all menu items.
Requirements:
-Must be a self-starter, ethical, hard-working, passion for scratch cooking, a high attention to detail, clean, organized and be able to work in a team environment
- Fully able to efficiently run one of three kitchen stations and responsible for food quality.
- Able to work under pressure and work well with others.
- Ability to follow instructions, recipes and procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
- Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Experience in high volume restaurants.
- Must be flexible with schedule and have open availability including working weekends
- Must possess the ability to consistently maintain all company and industry safety and sanitation practices and standards
