Let it be clear, this is not a position where we are sitting in the office as the work is happening. We are involved with every single thing going on in the restaurant at all times. General Manager knows every employee, what position they are, how they work, when they work, every position, how it operates, why its needed, knows all returning customers by name, treats new customers as they've entered many times, has the staff delivering the best service possible. This is not a suit and tie job. We are on our feet giving the best experience for our customers and hard working staff. We are looking for a motivated individual who cares for the restaurant and is always looking to improve.
General Manager Qualifications:
Can speak very good english and has paperwork to work. Delivers revenues and profits by providing appealing restaurant service and managing staff.
Must have Kitchen experience, cooking and managing
Must have Front of House Experience
Maintaining a professional atmosphere at all times
Minimum 5 years of restaurant experience
Previous Managerial experience
Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel)
Knowledge of POS Systems
Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: payroll, scheduling, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports
Responsible and Reliable
Being well groomed at all times
Must have initiative, leadership ability and outgoing
Being polite and pleasant
Having the employees work well together as a team so the restaurant keeps high food and service standards
Good communication skills to deal with staff and restaurant patrons
Must be able to handle the pressures and problems that all come in a restaurant
Being able to multitask a wide range of activities within the restaurant at once
Being able to determine applicants qualifications and experience to be suitable for Greek Chicken
Must possess a valid drivers license
Must be eligible to work in the United States

Working Conditions
Hours will typically be 50-60 hours a week because of emergencies with employees hours may increase. This typically changes when opening a new location.
Have the ability to perform all functions in restaurant
Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.
