Stratford Court Cafe is a neighborhood Breakfast/Lunch Cafe in a unique and beautiful outdoor setting just 2 blocks from the beach. Stratford has been in operation for over 20 years and is a downtown Del Mar landmark.
We have a great culture, a great team, a loyal customer base, and we need a new leader at the helm.
The Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations of the5 stores we operate. This position requires previous training and experience within the restaurant and hospitality management field. As a Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously building a great team, growing the business, overseeing day to day operations, and maintaining a consistently high standard.
This is a hands on, high energy position. At least 2/3’s of your time will be spent on the floor.
Approximately 40 hours/week.
Responsibilities:
-Employee training
-Staffing, schedule management
-Inventory management
-Cost Control
-Weekly Prime Cost Reporting
-Facility Repair and maintenance
-And all the other random things that come up in this business
Requirements
-Minimum 1 year restaurant or coffee management experience
-Ability to be on your feet up to 10 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs
