The Landscape Crew Member will maintain property grounds by mowing, cutting lawns; trimming and edging along walkways, flower beds and walls; trims bushes and trees; plants bushes and flowers; applies lawn care chemicals, as needed; and removes snow and spreads salt.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reports directly to Sports Field Manager & Assistant
Provide manual labor as assigned
Operate sports field equipment as directed
Implements Standard Operating Procedures for the Sports Field including hand-held gas-powered/electric equipment, non- powered equipment and hand tools
Ensure that all work performed is in a safe manner for the employee and those using the environment in which work is performed (Complete Greenius Modules)
Responsible to maintain records for all work or services performed including rigid records for pesticide applications
Operate String Trimmer, Edgers, Blowers, Mowers, Trucks, Tractors, Rakes, Vacuums, Shovels, Rental Equipment, Machines, Aerator, Application Equipment, Utility Vehicles, Hand Tools, Irrigation Systems and all other equipment available to actively maintain Sports Fields
Plant, remove, transplant & maintenance plants
Pickup & dispose of trash, limbs, leaves, soil, and other debris
Perform routine PM maintenance to sports field equipment to include; cleaning, servicing, adjustments and minor repairs; responsible for accounting of all tools, & inspecting equipment
Remain up-to-date and informed in the current practices and state-of-the-art and all local, state, and federal codes and regulations related to sports field maintenance
Follow emergency response plans due to inclement weather, i.e. Earthquake, or other catastrophes
Inspect all vehicles/equipment/tools/property daily and are compliant with safety regulations and procedures, report conditions
Other duties assigned by leader or supervisor
Will be required to work before, during, and after emergencies, sporting events, evenings and weekends
Primary need is Sundays and evenings
Required to follow all ABM Services, client, and regulatory agency policies.
