Precision Construction and Painting is one of Southern California's largest Multifamily Reconstruction Contractors. We’re seeking a skilled Framer/Waterproofer Foreman to join our Orange County Team.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Structural Framing and Waterproofing Lead to oversee and execute all aspects of balcony and deck construction, repair, and waterproofing. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader, committed to quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires exceptional technical proficiency in both structural wood framing and complex waterproofing systems. Crucially, the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish is required to effectively manage crew members and interact with project managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
-Project Leadership: Lead a small crew in the field, ensuring all work is completed accurately, on schedule, and according to specifications, local building codes, and safety standards.
-Structural Framing: Expertly execute all framing tasks, including ledger installation, beam/post placement, joist layout, and sheathing. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
-Waterproofing Systems: Install comprehensive waterproofing and drainage systems for decks and balconies, including sloped sub-framing, membrane application (e.g., fluid-applied, sheet membrane), flashing, sealing, and transition details.
Requirements:
-Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in carpentry/framing, with at least 2 years specifically focused on deck/balcony construction and waterproofing.
-Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
