Construction Project Manager

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Project Manager. This role will involve supporting our team in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources.

2. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

3. Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.

4. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.

5. Conduct site visits to inspect work quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.

6. Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.

7. Provide administrative support to the project management team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing project files.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

2. Previous experience in construction project management or a related role preferred.

3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

5. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

6. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations.

7. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

The ability to read plans is required. As well as a minimum of 3 years experience in a construction related position.
