Description For faster consideration, please view my Linkedin under Charles O'Brien and send me your resume.Our client is a privately held investment firm that centralizes its investments around affordable housing.Corporate and fund accounting are outsourced - leaving this position focused on finance.Responsibilities include:
Ongoing quarterly reporting to our LP’s, JV Partners and KPI/Dashboard reporting organizational leaders, including helping to improve and build out reporting capabilities
Cash Flow forecasting and liquidity planning for our various funds as well as the management company
Regularly engage and work with fund administration team
Support the organization in the quarterly valuation process as well as ongoing third-party appraisals across the portfolio
Analyze, document and track loan agreements
Assist in onboarding technology (i.e. accounting software implementation) as needed
Engage in the audit and tax process
Requirements
Key Requirements
3-5+ years of audit, fund management, fund accounting, financial analysis or accounting experience ideal with exposure to real estate a plus.
Knowledge of KPI/Dashboard reporting and strong excel and modeling skills.
CPA, CFA, or MBA is nice to have, or other designation in financial analysis.
Strategy mindset. Ability to spot deficiencies and improve processes.
