Manage tax accounting for diverse funds (hedge funds, private equity, real estate, SPVs).

Prepare and review tax work papers and returns.

Calculate estimated taxes and oversee investor tax documents.

Collaborate with external firms on tax, accounting, and legal matters.

Address investor tax inquiries with well-researched solutions.

Coordinate with various departments and external auditors for financial statements.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in public accounting, specializing in Flow-Through Taxation

Expertise in partnership agreements for hedge and private equity funds

Proficiency in hedge fund tax matters, including Schedule M-1 computation

Knowledge of tax issues related to private equity funds, including capital account allocations

Familiarity with real estate fund tax matters, particularly REIT qualification

Ability to identify international tax implications and considerations for tax-exempt organizations

Experience in preparing and reviewing tax work papers and returns

Skilled in managing tax return preparation for multiple firms

Strong understanding of complex tax and accounting regulations

Candidates with a strong GPA and CPA qualification will receive preferential consideration
