The firm is committed to rewarding hard work and dedication, offering generous benefits and recognizing employees' contributions.Some responsibilities include: Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Review quarterly and annual financial statements of Funds for accuracy, completeness and overall presentation in accordance with US GAAP. Work with the financial management team to ensure accurate and timely audit and tax filings by coordinating with various outside service providers, researching technical tax and accounting issues as needed, and assisting with the overall audit and tax process internally and externally. Monitor cash position for various Funds and project future cash requirements. Collaborate with the finance management team to support overall department and company goals and objectives. Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Support the finance management team with advising a team of accountants regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions. Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team.Requirements Requirements:
Private Equity / Partnership Accounting exposure is highly preferred.
Cash Flow Analysis
5+ years’ experience in Audit/Fund Accounting
Degree in Accounting, Business, or Econ
CPA or on their way to becoming a CPA is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with excellent time management skills
