Our preclinical pipeline includes several recombinant polyclonal products for infectious diseases and a monoclonal antibody with a unique mechanism for oncology, which is currently in the clinic.We are seeking a talented, highly motivated Senior Research Associate to join the Technology Development team. This team is responsible for inventing, developing, and implementing novel capabilities to further expand our core technology suite. This unique position will focus on early-stage research projects but will also offer exposure to the full drug development process, with ample opportunity to learn new techniques, design experiments, and present your work.Primary responsibilities may include: DNA construct design and cloning Sequencing and molecular biology assays and analysis Expression and purification of novel proteins, including antigens and alternative antibody formats Mammalian cell culture, functional assays, and cell line engineering Single-cell and microfluidic assay development Developing and writing protocols for new methods Designing and running preliminary and optimization experiments Collecting and analyzing data and presenting at internal meetingsRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline with 3 years of experince or Master's degree and 1 year of experience 2+ years of research experience with 3 or more of the following techniques: PCR, RT-qPCR, NGS, mammalian cell culture, lentiviral production and transduction, CRISPR, flow cytometry, transient transfection, affinity chromatography (FPLC), size-exclusion chromatography (HPLC), ELISA, microfluidics Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Creativity and curiosity, with strong critical thinking and quantitative skills Ability to communicate effectively within and across teamsThird Party Agency and Recruiter Notice:Agencies that present a candidate to Grifols must have an active, nonexpired, Grifols Agency Master Services Agreement with the Grifols Talent Acquisition Department.
