Top Global Tech Company seeking Studio Audio EngineerMUST BE ONSITE IN THE BAY AREAW2 OnlyRole:Responsible for high-level technical support of the Creative Audio recording studio facilities in the SanFrancisco Bay Area. Combine recording production knowledge with project management skills and collaborateclosely with team members, product groups, and vendors. Train junior studio engineersPrimary responsibilities:● Technical planning and preparation of required audio recording equipment for sound recording, mix anddesign project work.● Collaborate with Creative Audio team members and XFN partners on project pre-production.● Work with and/or assign studio assistants with studio preparation.● Collaborate with technical engineer and audio engineer on solutions for equipment and system issues.● Conduct studio maintenance and systems integration.● Plan and conduct apprentice training sessions and support ongoing learning/mentorship.● Provide support to Creative Audio team members with software and hardware upgrades, includingproper documentation in Google Sheets and vendor software, if applicable● Support equipment inventory documentation and data entry in Google Suite● Onboard new users in edit rooms and sound studios, including documentation and basic training.● Occasionally engineer recording sessions.Required Experience and Skills:● Minimum 5 years experience in a professional multi-studio audio recording facility.● Bachelor’s Degree, completion of an equivalent recording program, or equivalent work experience.● High level technical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot professional studio equipment and softwareissues.● Hands-on experience with studio recording, editing and mixing, using Pro Tools.● Hands-on experience with digital and analog recording consoles.● Direct studio experience supporting VIPs, Executives, A-Level Celebrities and Recording Engineers.● Experience troubleshooting technical and computer issues.● Strong Google Suite and database management skills.● Task and project management tool experience.● Must be able to self manage and prioritize responsibilities.● Strong communication skills; experience working in a collaborative environment.● Ability to adapt to often changing work schedules; ability to work nights and weekends on short notice.Nice to Have:● Video recording and remote collaboration knowledge and experience.● Familiarity with various coding languagesAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
