Studio Director - NBC Sports, Bay Area

We are seeking a Director to join our creative production operations team in San Francisco, working in our state-of-the-art facility supporting NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California. You will need to be naturally curious, innovative, and motivated to lead the evolution of news production. We are seeking a proactive leader to champion and own the development and implementation of innovative technology and operational workflows.If you thrive in a dynamic live production, enjoy collaborating with others, and want to make a positive impact as part of a high-performing team using leading-edge technology and workflows, this is the role for you.Job ResponsibilitiesDirect and operate various live and/or recorded television productions in a sports environment using the Ross Overdrive Automated Production Control systemCode and execute live pre and post-game shows and various taped  productions using production automation; build master rundown patterns for all television broadcastsWork closely with editorial and production personnel from concept to final productionShape the creative appearance of broadcasts using video, audio, and graphics effectsGive direction and timing cues to talent and other techniciansOperate automated graphics, audio, camera control, and clip playback serversEnsure execution aligns with standard operating procedures and best workflowsResponsible for the ultimate technical quality of productionTroubleshoot and resolve operational issues as neededSubmit End of Show reportsParticipate in various feedback sessionsAll other duties as assigned
