A big up and coming player in the wearable tech space is looking for several firmware engineers to join their team. The company has recently locked down a significant round from top tier VC's and now looking to scale out their already impressive engineering team. There are multiple roles open and the company is hiring across the board in terms of experience. If you have any experience with medical devices or anything in Biotech along with low power embedded systems, we would love to hear from you. The company already has a product on the market that is selling well, and they are already in the process of developing new products. In this role, you will be writing software directly on to the device that will make positive impacts on the lives of the end users. Required Skills & Experience
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of embedded firmware experience in an industry setting
- Experience with Bare-metal embedded programming in C/C
- Experience writing and debugging network protocol code
- You've shipped robust, high performance applications to production
- Breadth and depth of skill to build a variety of embedded applications
- Experience with various software lifecycle tools (i.e. Git, JIRA, etc.)
- RTOS experience
- Knowledge or interest in Embedded Rust programming
- Experience with board bring-up and reading schematics
- Experience with microcontroller device interfaces (GPS, BLE)
- Experience working with proprietary hardware and 3rd party hardware
- 90% Embedded C programming
