Manager of Accounting

Lead and manage the financial reporting and GL accounting team, including day-to-day operations, training, and performance management.Oversee the closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS .Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording and classification of all financial transactions.Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrity.Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., sales, operations, tax) to gather and consolidate financial information.Analyze financial data and identify trends or areas for improvement.Stay current with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS, SEC regulations).Prepare and support the external audit process.Research and provide documentation on technical accounting matters.
