Mastercam CNC ProgrammerJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer with extensive experience in programming, setup, and operation, along with manual machining expertise and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes to ensure efficient and accurate production.Responsibilities

Collaborate with Planning, Quality, and Production teams to meet production goals.

Develop, optimize, and implement CNC programs to manufacture precise components.

Generate CNC programs from engineering drawings or customer-supplied .step files.

Accurately interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements.

Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions and programming errors.

Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in efficiency and quality.

Essential Skills

10+ years combined experience in machining and CNC programming for a machine shop.

5+ years experience with Mastercam software programs.

Proficiency in selecting proper cutters, considering speeds, feeds, and control system limitations.

Experience with 3-axis verticals and 4-axis horizontals (5-axis experience is a plus).

Comprehensive knowledge of FANUC, OKUMA, and KITAMURA controls.

Strong understanding of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).

Experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry and adherence to industry specifications.

Expertise in blueprint interpretation and creation.

Experience working with various types of metals.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and provide identification to meet I-9 and E-Verify requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with 3-4 axis mill and lathe programming.

Experience with manual machining.
