Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Santa Ana, California. This role involves the management and oversight of our financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate accounts. The Sr. Accountant will also be instrumental in improving our financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Responsibilities: Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and balance sheets. Ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations. Manage and maintain the general ledger. Prepare and record detailed journal entries. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial tracking. Ensure timely month-end close processes. Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation Expertise in Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger management Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Month End Close procedures Knowledge of NetSuite software Experience with Oracle financial software Proficiency in SAP financial software Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA certification is preferred Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant or similar role Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
