Little Angels Preschool is seeking a full-time, Mon. through Fri. (7:30-3:30) Preschool Assistant,
beginning August 10th. Minimum qualifications for this position are:
At least 18 years of age
High School Diploma/GED
6 COLLEGE UNITS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
Some experience with young children
Be able to pass criminal background fingerprint check and pre-employment physical and TB test
Vaccinations must be up-to-date and provide immunization record
Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time and kneel or sit on floor
Ability to work independently with a strong level of organizational skills
Have patience, flexibility and a passion for working with young children
Be able to communicate appropriately and professionally with children
Be able to take direction from two teachers in the classroom.
Quick learner
Must be able to multi-task
Possess good writing, speaking skills
Be a fun and energetic person
In this industry, timeliness and dependability is essential!
$14.50 per hour. Benefits eligible position after 60 days includes employer paid health insurance, life insurance, sick days, paid vacation weeks and paid holidays. There is also an option for employee paid dental, Aflac and retirement.
